After receiving a tremendous response on the first day the film has received poor response from the critics and audiences. Akshay Kumar has given a fine performance as Laxmi but the film could not impress the audiences. The film is also called the worst film to release On the OTT platform.

The title of Akshay Kumar's new film is changed after facing opposition from various religious groups. The film which was earlier called Laxmi Bomb is changed to Laxmi. Laxmi is a horror comedy film starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The film will get a digital release on the OTT platform.
