The film tells the story a group of Villagers who refuse to Pay Lagaan(Taxes) to the British Government.The film was directed By Ashutosh Gowariker. Instead, British Officers give them an offer to either pay their taxes or Play a cricket  Match against    the British team. Bhuvan the character played by Aamir Khan agrees to the bet and trains his own team against the  British Empire. The film was released in 2001 was a superhit. The cast and crew of the film were mix of Indian and International Artists. The film was also nominated for the Academy Awards in the Foreign Film category.

Radhe was supposed to get released in theatres in May 2021.But the film could not get released due to the Second WAVE OF the Corona Virus which affected the whole of India. Later on,      the film was released on ZEE 5 OTT Platform on pay per view model. Radhe stars Salman Khan,        Disha Patani, And Randeep Hooda in lead roles. Radhe has also become Salman's lowest-rated film    on the IMDB rating site. As cases of Corona have come down in Maharastra only few theatres in Maharastra have opened to limited capacity where Radhe is released in few theatres.The film has opened to low  box office collection due to the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus.

Salman Khan's latest film Radhe which recently released on Ott channel has opened mostly got negative reviews from Fans and Critics. Radhe has become Salman Khan's lowest-rated film on the IMDB platform. Radhe has got a rating of 1.8  which is the lowest ever for any Salman film. Salman's other film which got such a low rating on IMDB is Race 3. Radhe which is the sequel to Salman's Earlier Superhit Film Wanted was supposed to release in 2020 but the film got postponed due to the pandemic of Corona. And even this year India witnessed an even more traumatic and deadly second wave and hence none of the cinema theatres could open in 2021. In these sad times of lockdown due to the pandemic of coronavirus, there is finally some great news for fans of King Khan aka Shahrukh Khan.  Fans of King Khan aka Shahrukh Khan can rejoice because Shahrukh has resumed shooting of next action Blockbuster film titled Pathan. SRK was last seen in director Aanand L Rai’s movie Zero, which hit the theatres in 2018. King Khan and    the crew of Pathan had shot the first schedule of    the movie earlier this year.  The movie directed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films.The film also stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead. John Abraham will be seen playing a negative role in this action-packed film. Pathan which is directed by Siddharth Anand who is known for directing Action Blockbuster like War and Bang Bang is of directing Pathan. The crew has resumed shooting of the remaining parts of Pathan Which were stopped due to Lockdown restrictions in Maharastra. Pathan which was set to release in 2021 will now release in 2022.
