70s -tribute to first superstar Rajesh Khanna

It is always said no actor could see ould see the Superstardom that Rajesh Khanna could see.Rajesh Khanna had won the  film contest which was organized by  United Producers Guild.  After winning the competiton He signed many films which was produced by the guild. These films were Akhri Khat, Baharon ke Sapne, Raaz,and Aradhana.

Though his first few films could not create magic on screen His fourth film Aradhana directed    by Shakti Samantha created history at the box office and gave Hindi cinema its first Superstar. Aradhana had Rajesh playing the double role of both  father and son. He was playing the character of  Arun Verma a Air Force pilot who tragically dies in plane crash.Soundtrack of Aradhana was its biggest selling point of the film.All  songs of the film like Mere Sapnon Ke rani,Kora kaagaz tha ye main mere likhe diya pyaar isme tera, Roop Tera Mastana, Baharon mein bahar mein, not only became Super hits but also made Singer Kishore Kumar overnight Singing Superstar.  All songs of  from the film Aradhana are still played in today times in many still played today.

Rajesh did  like not repeat himself in many films.He did a different kind of characters in      each film like in Khamoshi he played depressed man who falls for the nurse who  is treating him.Waheeda Rahman  was playing the  role of a nurse who treats him.In year 1970 Rajesh starred in many Superhit films which are called Classics in today times..These films were Safar,Saccha Jhutaa,Anand,Haathi mere Saathi,Train,Dushman and several others.

His hair style and guru kurta had become a rage.His pairing with Sharmila Tagore was repeated in many hit films.

From 1969 to 1972 Rajesh record of giving 15  blockbusters hits became a  phenomenon that no star could ever break. The record still remains unbroken even after 50 years.

In 1972 kaka starred in many hit films like Amar prem, Apna desh where he was again paired with  with Sharmila Tagore and Mumtaz.In Apna desh his pairing with Mumtaz created magic on screen.In Amar Prem which was a Bengali film remake had Kaka playing the role of depressed lonely Man Anand Babu who searches for love in Pushpa(Sharmila Tagore).

Memorables songs like Yeh kya hua kaise hua,Kuch toh log kahenge,Chingari koi bhadke till date remains everyone favourite songs  sung  none other than Legendary Singer Kishore Kumar. The music of Amar prem was given Legendary Music Director RD Burman.

In 1973 Rajesh Khanna and Yash Chopra came together for first time in Film called  Daag which also had Sharmila Tagore and Rakhee in the lead roles.The film was a huge success.In 1974 Rajesh starred in  Aap ki Kasam opposite hit   costar Mumtaz with whom he had given many blockbusters. Again Kaka sizzling chemistry with Mumtaz in  Aap ki kasam made the film blockbuster at box office.In the same year, Rajesh Khanna Starred another   Film titled Roti by which was again a Superhit at Box office
