Second Wave Of Covid 19 stops Big Films from Releasing.
As the cases of Cov-19 are increasing day by day and Maharastra has imposed a new lockdown Again starting from 12th April 2021. Due to this all theatres and shops are closed till the end of the month of May. As the cases of Corona are only increasing and a record number of cov19 cases are been reported in Mumbai and Maharastra the lockdown will be extended till May end.The government has imposed a 1-month long lockdown in Maharastra. Many new films have been postponed or put on hold due to the new lockdown that Government has imposed. As it is Theatres were open to only less than 50% capacity before the lockdown was imposed in Maharastra. As the situation is worsening in the whole of India Many States like Delhi, Rajasthan has imposed lockdown again.
As the Films are concerned Many Big Budget Films will definitely get affected due to this lockdown. MANY BIG BUDGET HINDI FILMS WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO RELEASE IN THEATRES last year got Pushed to This Year to Covid 19 VIRUS.
1.Chehre-Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre which supposed to release in April are postponed further.
2.RADHE-Salman Khan film is postponed due to Ongoing Cov19 virus.The film may release in end of the year. As the virus is all-time high now.
3.The FLight-Small Budget Film Like Flight which was supposed to release in april is postponed.
4.No TIME TO DIE(English)-James Bond Film No Time to Die is ready to release in Theatres for two years but is again delayed due to Coronavirus. The films Stars Daniel Craig in the lead role of James Bond.
5.FF 9 -The ninth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise is another blockbuster postponed to protect box-office revenues. Universal Pictures’ decision is understandable, given that F9 is one of the company’s main hits of the year. The premiere date was changed from April 2020 to June 25, 2021.
