Indian Cinema's Legendary Superstar Famously Known as Tragedy King of Bollywood Dilip Kumar passes away.

Hindi Cinema's first Superstar also known as  Tragedy King Dilip Kumar who acted in more than 80 Hindi language  Films Tragically passed away yesterday at 98.

Leaving millions of his fans and family devastated. Dilip Kumar whose real name was Yusuf Khan was Known for his Method Acting and Unique style of  Dialogue Delivery. Dilip Kumar became one of India's Finest Actors and One of the Biggest Superstars of Hindi Cinema. Dilip Kumar was Known to Play Tragic roles in his films hence he got the title of Tragedy King. He made his Smashing Debut in 1947 with   Jwar Bhata.In 1948 He acted in a Film titled Noor Jahan which became his First big Hit. In the 1950s era of Black and White films, Dilip Kumar entertained audiences with evergreen films like Naya Daur, Madhumati, Mughal E Azam.Ganga Jamuna. Andaaz, Taraana, and Ram and Shyam.In Ram and Shyam Dilip Kumar  was    seen playing the Double Role for First time at time. The film was one of the biggest Superhit of the Dilip Kumar.In 1962 Dilip Kumar starred opposite Diva Madhubala in the Most Epic Period Drama film of all times Mughal E Azam.The film is  still counted among one of the  most expensive films   of all times of Indian Cinema. Iconic Songs and Dialogues of the film are still remembered by Fans.

Dilip Kumar continued to Entertain his millions of fans even in the 1970s and 80s. He starred in    many remarkable films and showed his acting potential in these Landmark films like Shakti which also starred Ruiling King of the 80s Amitabh Bachchan. But Dilip Kumar overshadowed Bachchan in the film. Even in Vidhaata Legendary Actor  Showed why he is called the Greatest Actor ever. Kranti and Karma also had Dilip Kumar playing lead roles along witrh other Powerhouse actors like Naseeruddin Shah ,AnilKapoor, Jackie Shroff,and Anupam Kher.

In 1991  Dilip Kumar and Raj Kumar starred in the Multi Starrer film Saudagar and which was a huge hit mainly due to the Acting of two Stalwarts of Bollywood Dilip Kumar and Raj Kumar. Dilip Kumar once again showed his method acting Class in the film.Songs of Saudagar are still popular even played today like Imli ka Bhuta, and the Title song of Saudagar. Sadly Saudagar became the last Big Hit film  Dilip Kumar  Acted in.

Due to old age, Dilip Kumar stopped acting in films but he was always present in Many Famous Awards Functions or TV shows. There was no award that was not bestowed to the Legendary Super Star including the most Prestigious  Dada Shaheb Phalke Award and  8 Film Fare Awards in Best Actor Category which itself is a record. The legend will be alive in the hearts of fans forever.
